VBdocman.NET - technical documentation made easy

How to make sure your technical documentation will never get out of sync with your code.

Quick quiz:
  1. Do you hate writing technical documentation?
  2. Do you think commenting your source code is a good thing?
If you answered 'yes' to both questions, I have good news for you.

There is a tool out there that reads your source code comments and generates help files for you automatically.

The tool generates help files that are professionally-looking, context-sensitive, with all the features the 'big players' employ, like table of contents, index, filters, 'see also' links, VS.NET integration and much more.

The tool supports both Visual Basic 6 and Visual Basic .NET, and it runs on all platforms supported by the respective development environment.

The tool is easy to use and affordable.

Okay, okay! I know I got a bit pathetic; I just couldn't resist. :-)

I've been using VBdocman.NET for a couple of months now and I've to say that besides the nice-looking documentation it generates, it helps me to write more structured and concise comments. And it is packed with features that make creating and maintaining technical documentation a pleasant task (well, almost;-).
